3 Plants That Cool the Air! Must Haves

I know it’s already the start of the colder months and heat should probably be the least of your worries. But just the same, keep this information handy, for when you need a quick fix to keep a room cooler without having to turn on the air condition. Indoor plants are not only there for keeping with the ambience and the aesthetics, but they also  help improve the whole temperature of the room, making it more comfortable for its occupants. They help reduce air pollution.

Some of these plants include the following:

The Boston Fern. It’s easily available and very common. You can hang Boston Ferns in a basket, it’s cascading leaves will look magnificent. Its color is a very light green, thus adding vibrance to the room. Keep them under indirect light and have their soil moist all the time. You will know that this plant isn’t healthy when the lovely green leaves run yellow. Shades are their friend.

Pothos. They come in lovely emerald green shades. Display them potted or hanging, it really doesn’t matter. The plant’s leaves are abundant, making it the best source for anti-air pollution.

Arrowhead Syngonium. You see this often, it’s the plant that’s shaped like a heart. It comes in shaded dark green with a touch of white or pink marks. They can be potted, or hanged but must be positioned properly to get the best benefits. I grew up with these plants all over our house and yes I can say that it did help with the cooling of the room. The room where these are displayed is the best spot in the house.
